Husky Football

The annual spring fling and Husky Spring Football game for the UW was today at Husky Stadium. Before the game they have a "Husky Football Experience" for the kids. The kids get to spend a little time with the players and they get to do various football skills & challenges. BJ was in heaven he loved it, Brennen had a little bit of a difficult time understanding why he couldn't do everything RIGHT NOW. I guess that's par for the course for an almost 2 year old.

The boys had such a great time! BJ could be a football player if he could handle the tackles. But in our family, no tackle football 'till Junior high!

After the Football Experience we had the chance to walk around the UW's campus. Since Bryan and I are both alums, we're a little biased, we love it.

Painting Away

While Bryan was away on Business, we decided that we were going to paint the boys' bathroom. It was quite the project considering first I had to strip all the awful wallpaper off. BJ helped pick out the color, yes it's pretty bright. Brennen had a little too much fun and we're still not sure if he got more paint on the wall or on his little body. Ah well, it all washed off anyways.

Monster Basketball

Ok, so anyone who knows BJ knows he love baskeball right? He had a monster basketball set he hadn't set up in a while, so he decided he wanted to set it up and play in the backyard. He and one of his friends in the neighborhood, Michael, wanted to play for a while. I was able to snap a few pics without BJ knowing!

Richmond Beach

We had a chance to get out & about today, and it was actually nice & sunny. Warm too, for Washington in April anyways! The boys had a great time at the Richmond Beach. It's a great place down by the Pacific Ocean in Shoreline, just a few minutes from Bryan's YMCA. We had a little Picnic at the Park and then headed to the Beach.

The water down at the beach was still a little cold, but not too bad for the feet! Brennen had to have his shoes off so he could enjoy the water, then wanted them right back on after he discovered it wasn't like bath water.

Overall it was a great day in the Sun, and I got to work on some of my photography stuff. I tried to work a bit with the sun's lighting from the back. I think it turned out OK.
